My Pregger's Timeline :))

Our baby is due on or around:

Tuesday, January 17, 2012

Right now you're about 5 weeks pregnant and your baby is the size of a sesame seed.

Here's when you can expect several key pregnancy milestones to happen.

April 26, 2011 (2 weeks pregnant)

Your baby's conceived

Doctors start counting pregnancy from the first day of your last period, so at conception you're considered 2 weeks along.

May 10, 2011 (4 weeks pregnant)

Positive pregnancy test

This week or next, you should be able to see a positive result on a home pregnancy test.

June 21, 2011 (10 weeks pregnant)

Your baby's heart beats

At your next prenatal visit, you'll be able to hear your baby's heartbeat for the first time.

July 19, 2011 (14 weeks pregnant)

Announce your pregnancy

If you decided to wait until the riskiest period was over, it's now safe to announce your pregnancy.

July 26, 2011 (15 weeks pregnant)

Your baby sees light

Your baby can see light now (through eyelids that are still fused shut) and may move if you shine a flashlight at your belly.

August 2, 2011 (16 weeks pregnant)

Having a boy or girl?

At your mid-pregnancy ultrasound (typically in the next four weeks), you may be able to find out your baby's sex.

August 16, 2011 (18 weeks pregnant)

Feel your baby kick

If you haven't already felt your baby kick, you probably will in the next four weeks.

August 23, 2011 (19 weeks pregnant)

Your baby hears sounds

Your baby should be able to hear your voice now, so don't hesitate to talk, sing, or read aloud.

October 18, 2011 (27 weeks pregnant)

Your baby can breathe

Your baby's lungs are still immature but could function (with a lot of medical help) if your baby were born now.

November 22, 2011 (32 weeks pregnant)

Your baby has fingernails and toenails

They're awfully tiny, but your baby has bona fide fingernails and toenails by now.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

December 27, 2011 (37 weeks pregnant)

Your baby is full-term

Your baby is ready for life outside the womb but will probably stay in there for a bit longer, gaining weight.

January 17, 2012 (40 weeks pregnant)

Your baby's due

Few women actually deliver on their due date. You're more likely to go into labor within a week or two before or after.
